Video: Ken Paxton Tells Houston Rally Crowd to Pray for Texas and Warns 'If We Lose Texas, We Lose America'
A one-minute Fox News clip of the Republican Senate nominee urging supporters to turn out the vote. We relied on Fox's title and description, not a transcript.
Ken Paxton is making a faith-and-turnout pitch days before the election, in a Fox News clip posted Friday.
This post summarizes a clip that runs 1 minute 3 seconds. We relied on Fox News's published title and description, not a transcript, so we are limited to what the network says about it.
According to Fox, the Republican Senate candidate spoke to supporters at a Houston rally. Fox says he urged them to pray for Texas and to turn out the vote, and warned that the election will decide the future of both the state and the nation. The title carries his line: "if we lose Texas, we lose America."
Two limits. This is a candidate speaking to his own supporters, not a finding of fact. And the listing does not include his opponent's response or the date of the rally. Our earlier stories on the Texas Senate race, including the Fox News poll, are on the site.
