Video: Kamala Harris Says Democrats Have 'Been Pissed' for a Year and a Half While Campaigning for Chris Pappas
A 41-second Fox News clip in which a correspondent reports on the former vice president's remarks at a New Hampshire Senate campaign stop. We relied on Fox's description, not the footage.
Fox News posted a short clip from "Fox Report Weekend" in which correspondent CB Cotton reports on remarks by former Vice President Kamala Harris.
What Fox says. The clip is 41 seconds long and dated Oct. 25. The description says Harris spoke while campaigning for Chris Pappas, the Democratic nominee for U.S. Senate in New Hampshire. The title is "Kamala Harris says Democrats have 'been pissed' for the last year and a half."
What is missing. The description has no fuller quote, no setting beyond the campaign stop, and no sign of what she said about why Democrats are angry or at whom. We do not know what her remark was responding to.
Why it matters. Pappas faces former Sen. John E. Sununu in a race Fox's Power Rankings list as Lean Democrat. The election is Nov. 3, and both parties are making final appeals to their bases.
Note for readers: the title, one sentence and a runtime are all we have. The word in quotation marks is Fox's, and we cannot confirm its context. We did not watch the video.
