Video: Jonathan Turley Tells Hannity Democrats Will Offer 'Investigations and Impeachments, Not Economic Solutions' After the Midterms
A 3 minute 8 second clip from Fox News' 'Hannity.' We relied on Fox's written description, not the video. The law professor warns Democrats could put probes ahead of prices.
Fox News posted a clip of contributor Jonathan Turley on "Hannity" on Wednesday night.
What the clip is. The 3 minute 8 second segment is titled "Democrats will offer investigations and impeachments, not economic solutions: Jonathan Turley." Fox's description says Turley discussed Democrats signaling potential investigations into President Trump and his administration after the 2026 midterms, and warned that they could put investigations and impeachment efforts ahead of economic issues.
What we know. That is all the page says. The text gives no quotes from Turley beyond the title, and no names or dates.
The context. Democratic lawmakers have openly promised subpoenas, which we covered earlier, while House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries said Wednesday that no member of his caucus had spoken to him about impeachment and that the party is "relentlessly focused on affordability and accountability," as the Daily Caller reports. Turley's warning is a prediction, not a vote or an announcement.
Why it matters here. The argument that Democrats will overreach is a common one on the right this week. Columnist Miranda Devine makes a version of it in the New York Post, which we cover separately.
What we could not check. We did not watch the video, so we cannot vouch for what Turley said, how he said it, or what Hannity asked. Anything beyond Fox's two-sentence description is missing here by design.
