Fox News has posted a clip titled "Talarico admits being 'provocative' with comments about God's gender." Fox's page is dated Oct. 22.
This post summarizes a Fox News video. We relied on Fox's title and description, not on watching or hearing the footage, so we cannot tell you what was said beyond that description.
What Fox says. According to the description, Jack Hibbs, senior pastor of Calvary Chapel Chino Hills, discusses Texas Democratic U.S. Senate nominee James Talarico's admission on "Fox News @ Night." Fox's description does not say what Hibbs argued, what questions he was asked or how long the segment runs.
The background on this site. Our earlier report covered Talarico's interview on The New York Times podcast "The Daily," where he was asked about a 2021 statement that "God is non-binary" and blamed "Republican extremism" for how the remarks were received. It also noted that he had called the line "provocative" at a recent town hall.
Note for readers: this is a commentary segment with a guest who is a pastor, so expect opinion rather than reporting. We have not seen the footage.
