The Associated Press has called three statewide races on our Election Headquarters map: the Nebraska Senate race for Republican Sen. Pete Ricketts, the Arizona governor's race for Democratic Gov. Katie Hobbs, and the Oregon governor's race for Democratic Gov. Tina Kotek.

Nebraska Senate. The AP's results page shows its call for Ricketts at 8:27 a.m. UTC, which is 2:27 a.m. Central on Wednesday, November 4. The AP page, updated at 3:04 a.m. Central, estimated about 87% of the expected vote counted. It showed Ricketts with 360,036 votes (50.3%) and independent Dan Osborn with 313,030 (43.7%). Robin Richards had 18,483 (2.6%) and Mike Marvin 15,455 (2.2%). The AP describes Osborn as a union organizer who has said he will not caucus with either party.

Arizona governor. The AP called the race for Hobbs at 8:20 a.m. UTC, or 2:20 a.m. Central. At 2:41 a.m. Central the AP page showed about 73% counted: Hobbs 1,065,872 votes (56.8%), Republican Andy Biggs 781,506 (41.6%).

Oregon governor. The AP called the race for Kotek at 8:49 a.m. UTC, or 2:49 a.m. Central. The AP page, at about 74% counted, showed Kotek with 782,988 votes (51.9%) and Republican Christine Drazan with 682,855 (45.3%).

Still open. The AP has not called Alaska's Senate race. At 2:36 a.m. Central, with about 68% counted, Republican Sen. Dan Sullivan had 99,561 votes (48.6%) and Democrat Mary Peltola 97,530 (47.6%). Kansas governor is also uncalled: with about 95% counted, Democrat Cindy Holscher had 50.3% and Republican Ty Masterson 49.7%. In Nevada, with about 71% counted at 2:51 a.m. Central, Democrat Aaron Ford had 51.3% and Republican Gov. Joe Lombardo 44.7%; the AP has not called that race.

Opinion and reaction. This report is news, not commentary. Reaction from both parties is still coming in, and we will label any commentary as opinion when we publish it.

What we could not check. Every count comes from the AP's results pages and is unofficial until each state certifies its results. We have not seen official results from the Nebraska, Arizona or Oregon election offices. The AP page stamps its times in UTC; we converted them to Central.

Where to follow. Our Election Headquarters page shows each key race, who called it and when, and the unofficial counts, updated every 15 minutes.
