Video: Waltz Tells Hannity Rubio Has Signed the Papers to Expel the Cuban Diplomat Who 'Shoved' an American, 'He's Gone'

The U.S. is expelling a Cuban diplomat after Tuesday's clash at the United Nations, Breitbart reports in a clip post.

The setting. U.N. Ambassador Mike Waltz spoke Tuesday night on the Fox News Channel's "Hannity." We summarize the transcript Breitbart published and did not watch the video ourselves.

The announcement. Waltz said that "just before I came on tonight, Secretary Rubio signed the paperwork to eject" the Cuban diplomat, "the first secretary of their delegation, who shoved and tried to assault one of our American diplomats. He's gone."

The timeline. Waltz said the man "is going to be on a plane to Havana within the next 24 hours."

The warning. "You lay a hand on an American here in the United States, President Trump, Secretary Rubio, and myself, we're not going to stand for it," Waltz said. "There will be consequences."

Context. This follows the General Assembly debate over the Cuba embargo, where Waltz and Cuba's foreign minister traded sharp words. Our earlier coverage of that exchange is on the site.

Note for readers: the account of the shove comes from Waltz. We have not seen a statement from Cuba's delegation on the alleged assault. To hear his words in full, watch the clip at the link below.
