Fox News posted a clip titled "Iran in 'ADVANCED STAGES' of planned attacks on Americans."

What Fox says. Fox's description says former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo reacts to a memo about potential Iranian attacks on Americans, the reported threats to U.S. interests abroad and the American military presence in the region.

What is missing. The listing does not say who wrote the memo, who has seen it, what it names as targets, or what Pompeo said. It gives no runtime and no response from Iran or the administration.

Context. We have covered the Iran decision facing Trump and the military's strike options in recent days. Fox's own live coverage on Monday points to new intelligence about an Iranian plot, but we have not confirmed the details.

Note for readers: the quote marks around "advanced stages" are Fox's headline wording. The title and a short description are all we have from Fox, and we did not watch the video.
