Video: Alaska Landmine Editor Jeff Landfield Discusses the DOJ's Criminal Probe Into the 'Decoy Dan' Controversy on 'Fox & Friends Weekend'
A short Fox News clip. We relied on Fox's title and one-sentence description, not a transcript.
Fox News posted a clip Saturday morning in which Alaska Landmine editor-in-chief Jeff Landfield joins "Fox & Friends Weekend" to talk about the Justice Department's criminal probe into "Decoy Dan" Sullivan in Alaska's congressional race.
This post summarizes a short video. We relied on Fox News's published title and description, not a transcript, so we are limited to what the network says about it.
Fox's headline says the DOJ "confirms" a criminal probe. The description does not say who at the department confirmed it, what the probe covers or who is under investigation, and it does not include a response from the Peltola campaign, which denies involvement in recruiting the second Dan Sullivan. Our earlier stories on the Alaska race are on the site.
