# Video: Rep. Jason Crow Says Democrats Could Use Impeachment as a 'Tool' Against Trump's 'Corruption' if They Win the House

The setting. Rep. Jason Crow of Colorado appeared on CNN's "The Arena" with anchor Kasie Hunt. We summarize the transcript Breitbart published and did not watch the video ourselves.

The question. Hunt asked whether Democrats should make impeaching President Trump a priority if they win a majority.

The answer. Crow pointed to his role as a House manager in the first impeachment trial and said Trump "should have been removed from office then." He did not commit either way. "Impeachment is a tool, a tool to achieve an end," he said. "The end is accountability. Ending corruption, cleaning up the government, protecting Americans."

The list. Crow said he "will use impeachment as a tool if I think that's the right tool to use," and named his goals: "let's get Pete Hegseth out of the Pentagon," clean up what he called corruption, end the "endless war," and end trade wars to help farmers, ranchers and small businesses.
