Fox News posted a clip titled "Former Obama fundraiser warns of socialist surge within Democratic Party."

What Fox says. According to the description, Silicon Valley tech pioneer Allison Huynh discusses the Democratic Socialists of America endorsing congressional candidates, and warns about "the far-left attempting to seize control of the Democratic Party." The clip was posted early Tuesday, Election Day.

Related. Our recent coverage includes Sen. Joe Manchin's warning that democratic socialists are gaining ground in his party and a poll of swing-state voters on their views of socialism.

What we could not check. This post summarizes a video. We relied on Fox News's title and description, not a transcript or the full segment, so we cannot say which candidates she named, what she said of her past fundraising, or what evidence she gave. "Socialist surge" and "seize control" are Fox's framing of her view. No response from the DSA or from Democratic leaders is part of the description.
