President Trump delivers his closing midterm message today at the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool in Washington, Fox News reports, ending a weeks-long push as Republicans try to keep control of Congress in Tuesday's elections.

The schedule. Trump is set to speak at 2 p.m. Eastern and join nine tele-rallies through the day. On Sunday he held in-person stops in Iowa and Kansas. Fox says those stops were put back on the calendar after they were first dropped in favor of tele-rallies aimed at voters in nearly 20 states.

The pace. Fox counts 30 in-person political appearances since August, including more than 27 rallies in October, across more than 20 states. Alex Bruesewitz, a senior adviser to Trump's 2024 campaign who has joined him on roughly 10 to 15 recent trips, says moving a sitting president is different from running a campaign. "The logistics that go into it are nuts," he told Fox News Digital. The work involves the White House Office of Political Affairs, the Office of Public Liaison and the Republican National Committee.

The message. White House spokesperson Olivia Wales said Trump will keep delivering "a simple message: with Republicans in control of Congress, Americans can expect safer streets, lower taxes, secure borders, and energy dominance."

The color. Fox lists appearances by Mike Tyson, Evander Holyfield and Nicki Minaj, who joined Trump at a Port Huron, Michigan, rally on Oct. 25. Bruesewitz says that stop drew a packed arena even though it ran against a Detroit Lions game, and that many in the crowd were seeing Trump in person for the first time.

What to keep in mind. The crowd and enthusiasm descriptions come from a Trump adviser and the White House. Other polling we have covered shows Democrats ahead in most tested Senate races. Republicans hold the Senate 53 to 47, and polls open Tuesday.
