PepsiCo and Taco Bell are extending their long partnership by 11 years. Fox Business reports PepsiCo announced Thursday that Pepsi drinks will stay at participating U.S. Taco Bell, Taco Bell Cantina and Live Mas Cafe restaurants through 2036.

What stays. Mountain Dew Baja Blast, a drink born from the partnership that Fox says has grown into a billion-dollar brand, remains on the menu alongside Pepsi, Pepsi Zero Sugar, Mountain Dew, Starry and Baja Midnight.

Doritos Locos Tacos. The partnership also produced the Doritos Locos Taco, which turns 15 in 2027. PepsiCo said more flavors are planned.

What the executives said. PepsiCo's Anne Fink, president of Global Away from Home, said the best foodservice ideas come from partners that "challenge us to think differently." Taco Bell President Meg Farren called PepsiCo "a trusted partner for over two decades."

The context. Taco Bell and KFC are both Yum! Brands chains. KFC recently said it is dropping Pepsi for Coca-Cola across roughly 3,700 U.S. restaurants, ending a relationship of nearly four decades. KFC will begin switching in January 2027, with the new drinks expected in all locations by spring.

Note for readers: the announcement does not give financial terms, and Fox's report does not say whether any prices will change.
