# ICE Deports Christian Ruvalcaba-Salas to Mexico to Face a Child Rape Charge After the Biden Administration Gave Him a Green Card

ICE says it handed the 28-year-old to Mexican authorities on October 16. The agency says he overstayed a 2020 entry, got a two-year green card in 2021, and that an immigration judge ordered him removed in July.

ICE has sent a man wanted in Mexico for an alleged child rape back to face charges, Breitbart News reports in an exclusive.

The removal. On Oct. 16, ICE agents deported Christian Ruvalcaba-Salas, 28, to his native Mexico and handed him to authorities in Aguascalientes. A Mexican court had issued a warrant accusing him of raping a child in November 2022.

The timeline. According to ICE, he entered the United States as a nonimmigrant in January 2020 near Laredo, Texas, and was required to leave by July 6, 2020. He did not. In March 2021 the Biden administration gave him a two-year green card. ICE says he left the U.S. before the alleged crime and crossed the southern border on Nov. 27, 2022, three days after it. In May of this year, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services terminated the green card and started deportation proceedings, and in July an immigration judge ordered him removed.

The statements. ICE spokesman Micah Bock said, "Criminal illegal aliens who are child predators and sex offenders represent the very worst of the worst and they have no place in the United States." ICE's Bret Bradford said the status the Biden administration granted "allowed him to remain free in the community for years endangering public safety," though he was wanted in Mexico and had been arrested for several offenses in the U.S. He said officers tracked him down after he tried to flee.

Note for readers: the account of the man's history comes from ICE through Breitbart, and the rape charge is an accusation in Mexico, not a conviction. Breitbart does not say what the U.S. arrests were for.
