Documents obtained by the Daily Caller list accusations dating from 1992 to 2026. They do not show that every person named has been convicted of an election offense.

Immigration agents have arrested 13 more noncitizens accused of voting illegally, according to documents the Daily Caller obtained exclusively.

The announcement. The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) put out the arrests just days before the 2026 midterms. DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullin told the Caller: "The patriots of ICE have arrested dozens of non-citizens who illegally voted in American elections." He added that "American elections are for Americans only."

The cases. The Caller's list covers people from Honduras, Somalia, Mexico, Cuba, Germany, Nicaragua, Vietnam, Venezuela, Cambodia and Guatemala. The elections they are accused of voting in range from 1992 to 2026. DHS says criminal histories for several of them include drunk-driving, drug, larceny, domestic violence, assault and weapons convictions, and one person has a third-degree sex offense conviction. Two Honduran nationals are each accused of voting in a 2026 election.

The agency's line. Acting ICE Director David Venturella said the arrests came from "careful, methodical investigations" run with federal, state and local partners. "When the facts support criminal charges, we pursue them," he said.

Background. The Caller says DHS directed ICE in June to enforce stricter penalties, including deportation, for noncitizens who vote illegally. In July Mullin warned state election officials that tens of thousands of noncitizens were registered to vote. Our earlier coverage reports on the DHS and Justice Department cases in North Carolina, California and Washington state.

Note for readers: the Caller says the documents do not establish that every individual named has been convicted of an election offense. The names, accusations and criminal histories come from DHS. We have not independently verified them.
